Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in a group home setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to resident rights and patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and care plans tailored to their needs. This role requires a nurturing attitude, patience, and the ability to work effectively with people with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and lifting when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- 1 year of Caregiving Experience
- Previous experience in a nursing home, home care, or memory care setting is preferred
- Ability to cook and prepare meals
- Knowledge of CPR and basic first aid
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards others
- Must have valid Drivers License and active auto insurance
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time
Pay: Starting at $15/hr
